Family Swim-In Movie 3/1/2015
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Bring the kids to the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center to watch 'Monsters Inc.' while floating in the pool. The movie will be shown on the scoreboard while you relax in the pool or on the deck. You must provide your own raft, float or inner-tube. Life jackets will be available. Pre-registration is required at the front desk. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for non-members; ages 3 and under are free. The price includes popcorn and drinks.

Young at Heart Book Club 3/3/2015
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - A book club for adults who love children's and teen books. Meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Strongsville Library. Register in person to pick up a copy of the book. This month's discussion is on 'Mr. Lemoncello's Library.'

Income Tax Update at the Library 3/4/2015

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny 3/7/2015
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Egg-stra special fun awaits at this family-style breakfast at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center. Enjoy scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, orange juice, milk and coffee as you await the arrival of the Easter Bunny. Kids can create a special Easter craft, and get a free photo with the Bunny (one photo per family). Tickets go on sale Feb. 1 at the rec center: $8 for 3 and older; $5 for kids 1-2; free for under 1 year.

Lyrical Irish Songs at the Library 3/9/2015

Mayor's State of the City Address 3/10/2015
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM - Mayor Tom Perciak will deliver his annual State of the City address at the monthly luncheon of the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center, 18100 Royalton Rd. and is open to the public, but reservations are required for the luncheon. Cost is $20, payable by cash or check at the door, or make reservations by calling (440) 238-3366 or visiting members.strongsvillechamber.com/events. Reservation deadline is March 6. There will also be seats available for those who wish to hear the mayor's remarks, but not to have lunch.

Movement Madness at the Library 3/10/2015

Super Saturday 5K and 1 Mile Race 3/21/2015
8:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Everyone is invited to take part in the 17th Annual Super Saturday 5K/1 Mile Race starting at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center. The 1-mile race starts at 8:30 a.m.; the 5K at 9. Pre-register for $20 for one race ($25 for both) at hermescleveland.com or by picking up an application at the rec center. Race-day registration is $25 for one race and $30 for both. Parents' Night Out 3/21/2015
4:00 PM - 8:00 PM - The Ehrnfelt Recreation Center is helping give parents a kid-free evening with Parents' Night Out. Kids will enjoy a safe, fun-filled evening with crafts, sports, board games, movies, a pizza party and more. Open to kids 3-12 (must be potty trained). Spring Book Sale 3/28/2015
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - The Friends of the Strongsville Library will have their annual spring book sale March 28-30. Friends members can preview the sale from 9-10 a.m. March 28. Friends memberships will be available for $8 at the door. Sale includes lots of books, AV materials, magazines and more.

Spring Book Sale 3/29/2015
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - The Friends of the Strongsville Library continues with the Bag of Books Sale from 1-4 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 30. Bring a recycled bag no larger than 15-by-15 inches to fill with books for $1. On Monday, fill a provided bag for 50 cents.

Child Safe Community Day Fair 3/29/2015
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Everyone is invited to the 11th Annual Child Safe Community Day Fair from 1-4 p.m. at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center. The event, presented by the Rotary Club of Strongsville, offers free child fingerprinting and clinics for kids on Stranger Danger and other safety topics. It also features an Easter egg hunt for pre-K to third grade, inflatables, pictures with the Easter Bunny, ice cream eating contest, dozens of vendor booths and more. Admission is free; there's a small donation for pictures and the ice cream contest.

Spring Book Sale 3/30/2015
9:00 AM - 8:00 PM - The Friends of the Strongsville Library's Bag of Books Sale ends. Fill a provided plastic bag for 50 cents.
