Young at Heart Book Club 2/2/2016
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - This book club for adults who love children's and teen books meets the first Tuesday evening of every month. Please register in person to pick up a copy of the book. This month's selection is "Wonder."

Community Improvement Corporation Meeting 2/4/2016
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM - The Strongsville Community Improvement Corporation's Board of Trustees will meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 4 in the Mayor's Conference Room at the Strongsville municipal offices, 16099 Foltz Pkwy.

Kids Garage Sale 2/6/2016
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Reserve a table at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center to sell your gently used maternity, baby and kids' items. Or come and shop more than 50 tables of toys, clothes, small furniture and accessories. Earlybird shopping starts at 9 a.m. for $3 admission (please have exact change) or shop free 10 a.m. to noon.

LinkedIn Advanced at the Library 2/8/2016
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - This class at the Strongsville Library will provide advanced users more detailed information about their LinkedIn profile and how to create a positive presence. Father/Daughter Dance 2/13/2016
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Dads, grampas, uncles and others are invited to accompany the little girl in their life to an evening of dancing and pizza at the Ehrnfelt Rec Center. Guests will receive a carnation and a keepsake photo. Cost is $9 for rec center members, $11 for non-member residents and $13 for non-member non-residents.

Upcycle a T-shirt 2/16/2016
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Teens in grades 5-12 are invited to bring in an old, clean T-shirt to the Strongsville Library and learn how to create a brand new upcycled pillow, then decorate it to make it special. An Evening with John Strong 2/23/2016
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - The Strongsville Historical Society will kick off the city's Bicentennial celebration with 'An Evening with John Strong' at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at Old Town Hall on Royalton Road. Who was John Strong? Why did he travel here? What did his wife think about his exploring? What connection did he have with the Pomeroys? Ted Larson from Strongsville Community Theater will portray Strong at this free event. Everyone is invited to learn about our town's founder. Bicentennial Kick-Off 2/25/2016
6:00 AM - 9:00 PM - Join the celebration of Strongsville's Bicentennial year on Feb. 25. The Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center will have free daily admission and free admission to programs all day (class maximums observed, with priority given to those already enrolled). In the afternoon, share some of the city's birthday cake on The Avenue at the Rec Center. Several facilities will also have open house events from 2-7 p.m. that day, including the police station, fire station headquarters on Prospect Road, Old Town Hall and Historical Village.

Kiwanis Read Around the World 2/27/2016
10:00 AM - 12:30 PM - The Stronsville Kiwanis Club will sponsor this reading celebration at the Strongsville Library. Kiwanis members will read to children, and each child attending can choose a book to take home. The St. Joseph and John Builders Club will perform a puppet show. There will be face painting and light refreshments.

Parents' Night Out 2/27/2016
4:00 PM - 8:00 PM - The Ehrnfelt Recreation Center offers parents a chance for a kid-free night with Parents' Night Out, Kids' Night of Fun, which runs 4-8 p.m. on a Saturday each month. It's open to kids 3 (must be potty-trained) to 12, who will spend the evening enjoying a movie, games, arts and crafts and a pizza party while their parents enjoy an evening out or quiet time at home. Cost for members is $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling; for non-members, it's $25 for one child and $15 for each additional. Strongsville Community Band Concert 2/28/2016
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Everyone is invited to the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center at 3 p.m. Feb. 28 to hear the Strongsville Community Band play a tribute to the city's Bicentennial. Free and open to all.

Minecraft Challenge II 2/29/2016
