Strongsville Community Band Concert 7/3/2014
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM - The Strongsville Community Band will play a Summer Concert on the City Commons. Note: The concert is on Thursday, not Friday, due to the July 4 holiday. The concert is free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.

Fireworks 7/4/2014
10:00 PM - 10:45 PM - The city's annual Fourth of July fireworks display will take place at the Foltz Athletic Fields. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show.

Teen Writer Boot Camp 7/7/2014
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - For ages 13-18 at the Strongsville Library. The week-long camp for aspiring young authors will review fundamentals and guide teens to create new poetry, fiction and drama. Register at (440) 238-5530 or cuyahogalibrary.org. A signed parent release form is required.

UH Arts and Wellness Collage 7/12/2014

The workshop is geared toward people living with cancer, including survivors, those in treatment and their families, but everyone is welcome. 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Strongsville Homecoming, sponsored by the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce, opens at 3 p.m. on the City Commons with rides, food and games. The Spirit of Strongsville parade starts at 6:30 p.m. on Progress Drive and marches south on Pearl Road to the Commons, where free entertainment follows.
