Career Fair 4/1/2015
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - The eighth annual Polaris-Westshore Career Fair will run 9 a.m. to noon April 1 at Polaris Career Center, 7285 Old Oak Blvd. in Middleburg Hts. Up to 100 employers with job openings will be there. Job seekers should dress to interview and bring multiple copies of their resume.

Young at Heart Book Club 4/7/2015
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - This book club for adults who love children's and teen books meets the first Tuesday of the month at the Strongsville Library. Please register in person to pick up a copy of the book. Next discussion will be on 'Coaltown Jesus.'

Puttin' on the Glitz 4/10/2015
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM - Puttin' On The Glitz XIV will present a kaleidoscope of hit songs from the past to the present. This year's show promises to be another "high energy" production featuring seniors over 50 years of age. Returning will be some of your favorite entertainers from the past-singing and dancing to music that you grew up with.
The chorus will again be led by Don Shearer and will feature special musical arrangements by Jim Wonnacott. The show is under the direction of Ken Mehalko and his wife Bevery Wehr.
The show will be held in the Strongsville High School Auditorium (20025 Lunn Rd.)
where there is always a good seat available.
General Admission tickets are on sale at Ehrnfelt Senior Center, or you can purchase your ticket at the door.
Performances: Friday, April 10 at 7:30 pm • Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 pm
Sunday, April 12 at 2 pm
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors

Help Plan Strongsville's 200th Anniversary Celebration 4/15/2015
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM - The first public meeting to plan Strongsville's 200th anniversary celebration in 2016 will take place at 7 p.m. at the Ehrnfelt Senior Center. Everyone is invited to help plan and research ideas for celebrating the city's birthday.

Swim for Diabetes 4/18/2015
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - The Ehrnfelt Recreation Center pool will again host Swim for Diabetes, a fundraising event for the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland. Participants pledge to swim, walk or play in the water to help raise money for the cause. For more information, visit diabetespartnership.org.

Parents' Night Out 4/18/2015
4:00 PM - 8:00 PM - The Ehrnfelt Recreation Center is helping give parents a kid-free evening with Parents' Night Out. Kids will enjoy a safe, fun-filled evening with crafts, sports, board games, movies, a pizza party and more. Open to kids 3-12 (must be potty trained). Prescription Drug Take-Back 4/25/2015
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Strongsville Police, working with the DEA, will disposed of unneeded prescription drugs on April 25. Residents can drop off old pills (no liquids, please) at the police station, located at the corner of Pearl and Royalton roads. Officers will dispose of the medication safely.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Watch "The Little Mermaid" on the scoreboard at the Ehrnfelt Rec Center pool while relaxing in the pool on your raft or float, or enjoy the movie from the deck.
