Welcome to the Human Resources Department

The Human Resources Department for the City of Strongsville is located in the Municipal Offices and Service Center, 16099 Foltz Parkway, Strongsville, Ohio 44149 (approximately ¾ mile southwest of the intersection of Lunn Rd. and Prospect Rd.). The Department was created by Ordinance in 2008. The Human Resources Department handles all employment and human resource issues and projects for all City departments and employees.

SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD
Major Responsibilities: To assist school children and pedestrians when crossing roadways or driveways on their way to and from school.
Qualifications:
• Pass a police background check with no criminal record
• Be available in the morning and afternoon for a total of 2 hours per day
• Should have good vision, hearing, and mobility
• Be able to stand for long periods of time outdoors, and be able to communicate well with others

Pay: $13.52 per hour
