Learn to Swim Registration & Policies

Registration Information

Individuals may enroll in any open class listed in the bulletin.

If the class is full, you may put your name in the Wait List Book at the front desk. This list does not guarantee you a spot in a class or that you will be called. This list is for the use of the Aquatic Supervisors to determine if there is enough need to add additional classes or instructiors as space allows.

PLEASE NOTE: If your child has any special needs or problems, it would be helpful if you would inform the instructor/Aquatic Supervisors on the first day of class, so they can better work with your child.

Holds

A Hold Spot is a roster spot reserved for a student in the previous Learn-To-Swim session within a season.

There are no Hold Spots for those enrolled in Winter classes who wish to enroll in a Spring/Summer class, Spring/Summer to fall or Fall to Winter. There will be several Hold Spots for each class, preschool and Level 1-7 during a session.

A HOLD CANNOT BE FILLED UNTIL THE CALSS FROM THE PREVIOUS SESSION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

A Hold Spot will be reserved for thos enrolled in a previous session until 8:00 p.m. on the last day of class at which time they will be open to the public. Each student must provide an Ehrnfelt Recreation Skill Sheet with the date/time and instructor's name from the last class enrolled in to register a Hold Spot.

New Registration

NEW- Registration for programs will end 2 days before the class starts. late registration may be accepted on a case by case basis by the Aquatic Supervisor. this will allow time to have enough instructors per class or cancel a class if needed. Indidviduals registering after the start date will be required to pay the entire class fee at the time of registration.

If it is necessary to cancel or change a class time, date, or location, every effort will be amde to notify you in a timely manner. Please make sure the front desk has your correct phone number in the computer when you are registering for classes Refunds/Credits will be processed if necessary.

Learn to Swim Policies

Swim participants and their parents must adhere to the Guidelines of the Aquatic Center and the following policies specific to Learn-To-Swim.

* THE PIRATE SHIP AREA WILL BE CLOSE DURING ALL LEARN-TO-WIM CLASSES.

* In order to provide an environment which is free of any potential distractions, with the exception of Preschool classes, parents are required to stay behind the red cones, and not sit directly in front of the classes in progress. You may wait in the bleachers to watch the classes, the vending area, or behind the cones.

* Spectators may choose to be barefoot or wear sandals (flip flops) on the deck. No street sandals, shoes or boots are permitted for safety and anitary reasons. Your cooperation is appreciated.
