RECYCLING

The City of Strongsville has two ways to recycle: curbside pickup and drop-off sites.

Curbside pickup - this occurs on the same day as your normal refuse pick-up.  Place refuse on one side of driveway and recycling on the opposite side.

IN A BLUE PLASTIC BAG please place: (these items can be mixed in one bag)

  • Glass jars and bottles (brown, green and clear)
  • Aluminum and steel cans
  • Plastics (coded 1 and 2 on bottom)

PLEASE remove all lids and tops from bottles and jars.  Place metal tops in recycling bag.  Empty and wash out all cans, jars and bottles.  Labels do NOT have to be removed.

IN A BROWN PAPER BAG please place:

  • newspaper (no glossy paper inserts - these need to go to drop-off containers)

The City of Strongsville also offers curbside pick up of brush.  Please call for details.

PROBLEM???

If your recycling was not picked up or your are having difficulty with recycling pick-up (please get truck #) and contact Jennifer Milbrandt 440-580-3124 or Republic Waste 572-7590.
