Firefighters here have had to respond to two large brush fires recently, due in part by the unseasonably dry fall weather.
Fire officials want to remind residents that open burning is not permitted in Strongsville. The burning of construction debris, yard waste (including leaves) and other waste is strictly prohibited by the city's fire code.
