Sgt. Shamus Kelley has graduated from the Supervisor Training and Education program, an effort designed to develop newly promoted officers into highly effective first-line supervisors. The STEP curriculum includes leadership strategies, mentoring, effective listening and speaking, creating an ethical environment, conflict management and critical incident management.
