Councilwoman-At-Large

Kelly Kosek has served on Strongsville City Council since 2018.  After serving four years as the Ward 3 councilwoman, Kelly was elected to represent all of Strongsville as a Councilmember At-Large in November 2021. 

Kelly received her undergraduate degree from Allegheny College and her Juris Doctorate from the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law. She is an attorney and partner at her Ohio-based law firm.

Kelly's goal on council is to represent residents and to ensure that Strongsville has the best amenities and city services.  She is passionate about helping families and wants to ensure that Strongsville remains a premier destination for families.  While on Council, Kelly has been a leader in improving amenities for residents.  She advocated for building the Surrarrer Park Playground, creating Strongsville Family Movie Night, and bringing Silver Sneakers to the Rec Center.  She has also been a proponent of the new Town Center project, which includes plans for a splash pad and a new playground.
