The Ehrnfelt Senior Center has received a $50,000 Community Development Grant from Cuyahoga County.
Senior Center Director Kathy Sazima said the money will be used to replace carpeting, buy new tables and chairs for the common area and upgrade the front desk. The improvements will be made later this year.
“We are just thrilled,” Sazima said. “It’s going to be a nice update.”
The Senior Center was already able to replace couches and upholstered chairs recently thanks to donations from Strongsville Rotary, Rotary Foundation and Strongsville City Club.
