It's mating season for skunks -- and other wildlife -- in northeast Ohio, and Animal Control Officer Chuck McCleary is already getting lots of calls about pets being sprayed.
He advises being vigilant about scoping out your property before you let your pup outside, especially in the evening or at night. Make sure Pepe LePew is nowhere in sight so your dog doesn't encounter him in the yard.
