Town Center Plans Move Forward

Plans for the Strongsville Town Center Enhancement are coming together to culminate in a spring groundbreaking. 
The project will improve the connectivity and walkability in the Town Center area, and will add new community amenities to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors.
A new brochure for the project lists a series of improvements that will be included, and also offers a chance for individuals, civic groups and businesses to donate to the project, which will be paid with grants and contributions. Sponsorships and naming rights are available. 
Plans show there will be new walkways, trails and sidewalks to better connect the amenities and promote walking, walkways from Freedom Trail to the Commons, and a new roundabout to replace a three-way stop at the corner of Zverina/Roe/Westwood. There will also be a walkway to Pearl Road.
There will also be an interactive fountain/splash pad, a pavilion with fireplace, an ADA-compliant playground,new tennis, pickleball, sand volleyball and half-court basketball areas, a food truck court with paviliion a large open green space for community events and nature play.
