Ready Notify, Cuyahoga County's emergency notification system, is transitioning to a new provider, called CodeRED. As the switch takes place, everyone is asked to register to receive emergency notifications from Strongsville and from other communities, if desired.
Even if you are already registered, and already receive notifications, PLEASE RE-REGISTER BY MARCH 10.
The system was used in Feburary during a boil alert. Strongsville's safety forces use Ready Nofity to send out information about emergencies like that, as well as missing people, major road closings and other urgent news. You can choose to receive a phone call, a text and/or e-mails.
