Don't Forget to Buy Your Dog a License

Open enrollment for dog licenses is Dec. 1, 2020 through Jan. 31, 2021.
Strongsville Animal Control Officer Chuck McCleary urges everyone to license their dogs -- for one thing, it's the law.  It's also your pup's best chance to find his way home if he should get lost.
When your dog has its license attached to its collar, its assigned license number is all that is necessary to identify its owner. If you don;t buy your pup's license during the renewal period, Ohio law requires a late fee equal to the cost of the license.
You can order online here, or pick one up at Discount Drug Mart (corner of Prospect and Royalton roads). You can also visit the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer website for a printable form you can mail in.
