NOTE: Here's the NEWLY UPDATED Leaf Collection Schedule for Fall 2019

The Strongsville Service Department has extended its fall leaf collection by one to two weeks.
Crews went down every street in the southern part of the city the week of Dec. 2. As of Thursday, Dec. 5 they WILL return to the neighborhoods north of Royalton Road for one final pass. That will be the last leaf collection of 2019.

After that, residents should bag their leaves and set them out with their regular trash.

Have your leaves piled near the curb on the MONDAY of the collection week.
Please click here for the rules for leaf pick-up. REMEMBER: IT IS ILLEGAL TO PILE YOUR LEAVES IN THE STREET. Please keep them on the tree lawn.
Brush and branch chipping is suspended during the fall, when crews are instead assigned to pick up leaves and plow snow. It typically ends in early October and resumes in late March or early April.
For the 2019 season, no brush pick-up requests will be accepted after Oct. 6, 2019. After that time, brush can be picked up by Republic Waste, according to their guidelines
