The Strongsville Women's League will collect bikes to donate to the Ohio City Bicycle Co-Op in Cleveland during a bike drive on May 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If you have bicycles your kids have outgrown or that you no longer use, you can bring them to the Strongsville Middle School parking lot to make a tax-deductible donation to the Co-Op, a non-profit bicycle education center offering riding and repair classes, fully refurbished bikes for sale or rent, public shop use and repair assistance.
Bikes can be any type, any size and in any condition. Also accepted will be bicycle-related items, like wheels, parts, accessories, books, videos, tools, car racks, riding clothing, etc.
Volunteers will be on hand to help unload bikes from your vehicle.
