The annual Memorial Day parade, sponsored by Strongsville VFW Post 3345, will start at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 29 from St. Joseph Church, 12700 Pearl Road. The parade will head south on Pearl to Zverina Lane and end at the Freedom Trail gazebo, where a remembrance ceremony honoring our nation's fallen heroes will take place.
The Historical Village will be open from noon to 2 p.m. so visitors can stop by after the ceremony. The houses and general store will be open, and there will be crafts for kids.
