Emergency Services (Police, Fire, EMS) are fully operational. The Service Department will continue to maintain the roads and infrastructure of the City.

NEW! Changes In Service

Republic Waste will ONLY pick up trash and recyclables in plastic bags, effective March 30. Bags in Bins Are Okay. Loose or bulk items will not be collected.

Spring Houshold Hazardous Waste Round Up

Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic, the Spring Household Hazardous Waste Round Up has been canceled. NO MAKE UP DATE At this time the Fall Household Hazardous Waste Round up scheduled for September 10-12 will take place.


The Ehrnfelt Recreation Center closed at 5 p.m. March 16, 2020 and remains closed until further notice. The Senior Center will also remain closed until further notice. Senior Wheels transportation will be provided during the closure ONLY for medical and grocery trips. Senior meals will be provided for takeout only. Tickets for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be refunded at the front desk once the Rec Center reopens.

Limited Hours

The Municipal Offices at 16099 Foltz Parkway and Mayor's Court located at 18688 Royalton Road, will continue to operate but with restricted hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday -- until April 6. NOTE: Some limited documents such as permits may be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Municipal Offices. Please call the Building Department at between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to get details.


Registration for Safety Town, which had been scheduled for March 28 and April 1, has been postponed. The program is still expected to take place this summer, but sign-ups will not be taken on the original dates. We will announce online registrations soon.
