Emergency Services (Police, Fire, EMS) are fully operational. The Service Department will continue to maintain the roads and infrastructure of the City.

Spring Houshold Hazardous Waste Round Up

Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic, the Spring Household Hazardous Waste Round Up has been canceled. NO MAKE UP DATE At this time the Fall Household Hazardous Waste Round up scheduled for September 10-12 will take place.

Events Cancelled

A number of 2020 spring and summer events have been cancelled or postponed.
They include:
Fourth of July fireworks
Memorial Day parade and ceremony
Safety Town
Strongsville Community Band concerts
Farmers' Market
Strongsville Rotary Duck Race and Kids Fest (June 6)
All Strongsville Recreation programs through Aug. 31
Shred Day (was set for June 13; if possible, this will be rescheduled for later this year)
Touch a Truck (June 12)
Historical Society yard sale (June 25-26)
Historical Village tours (postponed until further notice)

Closures

The Ehrnfelt Recreation Center closed at 5 p.m. March 16, 2020 and remains closed until further notice. The Senior Center will also remain closed until further notice. Senior Wheels transportation will be provided during the closure ONLY for medical and grocery trips. Senior meals will be provided for takeout only. Tickets for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be refunded at the front desk once the Rec Center reopens.

Postponed

Registration for Safety Town, which had been scheduled for March 28 and April 1, has been postponed. The program is still expected to take place this summer, but sign-ups will not be taken on the original dates. We will announce online registrations soon.
