The Strongsville Fire Department has been recognized for outstanding cardiac care with the American Heart Association's 2019 Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Plus award.
Representatives from the American Heart Association and Southwest General presented the award to Fire Chief Jack Draves at the Dec. 2 City Council meeting.
