Strongsville firefighters hosted some service dogs-in-training to expose the pups to new sights, smells and sounds, including simulated smoke, so they won't panic if they enounter a fire.
The dogs are being trained by the Northern Ohio Volunteer Group for Canine Companions for Independence, which provides helper dogs for disabled people.
