The 2025 Strongsville Fire Academy for Kids, which is a free one-day program for children ages 10-11 at the time of the academy and who live in Strongsville, willl be held June 2 and 3 at Strongsville Fire Station 4, 17000 Prospect Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration begins
April 1, 2025.
The academy is a six-hour program that allows children to learn and participate in skills related to the fire and EMS fields such as CPR, fire extinguisher use and many other evolutions, with a free lunch provided. It is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each day, the academy will host 21 children for a total of 42 over the two days. If there is enough interest in the program, June 5 and possibly June 6 will be added. Requests for dates will be considered, but due to the first-come, first-served basis, honoring requests is difficult and dates are assigned.
To register, please send your request for participation to
kids.academy@strongsville.org with a parent/guardian name, child’s name, child’s age and a working phone number. Registrations received before April 1 will not be considered. Please allow one week for notification regarding acceptance into the academy and be certain to check your junk and spam folders for a response.
