Silver Sneakers is offered at the Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center starting Oct. 26, 2021.
Its members will now have free access to the Rec Center and all of its amenities, including the pool, sauna, track, cardio equipment and more free of charge.
Silver Sneakers is a fitness and wellness program for seniors 65 and older on eligible Medicare plans.
Until now, Silver Sneakers members here have had to use workout facilities outside of Strongsville. Although the Rec Center does not offer Silver Sneakers fitness classes, participants can take regular fitness and exercise classes at member rates.
