Strongsville police are reminding motorists they MUST YIELD for pedestrians in crosswalks.
People crossing the street in a crosswalk have the right of way, and motorists MUST STOP until they are across the roadway.
Also, please be sure to LOOK for pedestrians before turning at an intersection. The Federal Highway Administration estimates 5,000 pedestrians are killed nationally every year, and anorhter 86,000 are injured.
