University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is the lead agency for the Safe Kids/Safe Communities Greater Cleveland Coalition. Rainbow’s Injury Prevention Center provides staff to coordinate local Safe Kids campaigns and events and offers resources from its Lending Library to coalition members.
Rainbow and Safe Kids are committed to decreasing the injury rate of children in Greater Cleveland. Injuries remain the leading cause of death for children and young adults age 3 to 33.
Strongsville Police Department is a member of the Safe Kids/Safe Communities Coalition. Our department participates in the following campaigns:
- Click It for a Ticket
- Click It or Ticket
- Safe Rides Program
- Babysitting Course
- Walk to School Day
