Jim Carbone has called Strongsville his home for the past 41 years, moving into the city with his family in December of 1978. Jim is proud to have gone through the Strongsville schools starting in kindergarten and graduating from Strongsville High School in 1991. After graduation Jim attended Cuyahoga Community College and the University of Toledo. In August of 1994 Jim attended the police academy and became a member of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department. In 1998 Jim became a North Olmsted Police Officer and is currently assigned as a School Resource Officer.

Jim has always taken great pride in working with and for the people. Jim has served on three homeowners associations and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Historical Society, Optimist Club, and works the Homecoming as a tent manager.

Jim is excited to bring a new point of view, vision and energy to Council. Jim's top priority will be listening to the people and being a great representative for them.
