Ward 3 Councilman

Tom Clark has called Strongsville home since 2011.  He has volunteered in Boy Scouts of America, our schools, non-profit organizations, and community recreation.  Tom has coached wrestling, softball, basketball, soccer, football, and baseball here in Strongsville.  An Eagle Scout, Tom served as Den Leader for Boy Scouts of America with Pack 226 and was the Pine Wood Derby Chair several years ago when it was hosted at South Park Mall.  Tom received his B.S.B.A in Business Management and Logistics from John Carroll University.  He is Partner and Supply Chain & Logistics Practice Leader at Direct Recruiters, Inc. and he also leads DRI’s Military Leadership Excellence and Military Transition Practices.  Tom is a former U.S. Army Captain and Airborne Ranger that served in Afghanistan.  Tom then successfully built and led teams at organizations like Staples, Cardinal Health, Cleveland Clinic, and Safeguard Properties.  He also serves as President of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Cleveland Roundtable.  Tom is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Supply Chain Services Management Officer graduate from the US Army Quartermaster Center & School, Fort Lee, Virginia.  Tom and his wife have 2 children, both in Strongsville City Schools.  His focus in serving on council is to retain the strength and success of our city and continue to make Strongsville a great place to live, work, raise a family, grow a business, and enjoy life.
