You can show your appreciation for law enforcement by lighting your home or business with blue lights during the annual Light Ohio Blue campaign May 9-16, 2021.
The campaign honors law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty as well as current sworn and civilian staff.
Residents are encouraged to change their home exterior lights to blue to show their support. The campaign also works with Ohio businesses to light the city skylines blue for the week.
Blue bulbs should be available at local hardware stores. Strongsville's clocktower will be lit up with blue lights for the event.
