NOPEC has announced its summer-fall rates for natural gas customers.
The Standard Program price for Columbia Gas of Ohio customers will be decreasing from $0.719 per Ccf to $0.635 per Ccf for the next six-month period beginning with June 2026 meter reads through December 2026 meter reads.
For those customers that prefer longer periods of predictable pricing, NOPEC will be lowering its fixed-term product prices as well. The new pricing for those product options will be:
Natural Gas:
Fixed Term Pricing (Starting June 2026)
| Fixed Term Length |
Columbia Gas of Ohio |
| 12-months |
$0.645 per Ccf |
| 24-months |
$0.625 per Ccf |
These prices are in line – and largely below – what is currently being offered on the Apples-to-Apples shopping website and come without the hidden charges and strings attached to many retail offers.
That means residents and small businesses can choose NOPEC’s range of products with no early cancellation fees and the option to switch between NOPEC products at any time at no cost for up to two years. Customers can also choose the Monthly Variable Price product; the price will be $0.02/Mcf less than the utility’s Standard Choice Offer which is reset monthly. Enrollment in the Monthly Variable Price product is limited to 3.5 percent of NOPEC customers in the utility service territory and therefore subject to availability.
To enroll in any of the fixed term or MVR products, consumers can call NOPEC’s Customer Care Center at 855-667-3201, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
