Strongsville is playing a role in a major fundraiser for Make-A-Wish and the Home Builders Association of Greater Cleveland’s Charitable & Education Foundation with a Win a Home for the Holidays raffle.
Mayor Tom Perciak cut the ribbon Aug. 5 on the project, in which a custom-built $495,000 home in Siedel’s Landing will be raffled off to benefit the two charities.
The house, being built by Parkview homes, will be a three-bedroom, two-bath, 2,084-square-foot ranch with a sunroom and a finished basement.
Tickets are on sale now at https://donate.onecause.com/hbahomeraffle/home
for $50 each. The drawing will be on Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve.
The goal is to sell 20,000 tickets to benefit Make-A-Wish’s Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana chapter, which has granted more than 17,500 wishes to children with critical illnesses since it started in 1983, and the HBA’s Charitable and Education Foundation, which provides scholarships for students entering the construction industry and support for community projects.
Parkview Homes is a family-run company with an 80-year history of building more than 8,000 homes in Ohio and Florida.
