Strongsville's Population Jumps by 1,700

Strongsville's population has increased by 3.89 percent in the last decade, according to newly released figures from the U.S. Census Bureau.
The city went from 44,750 residents in 2010 to 46,491 in 2020 -- an increase of 1,741 people.
In actual numbers of new residents, Beachwood was the only community in Cuyahoga County to see a larger jump, with 2,087 new inhabitants. 
Percentage-wise, some of the other fastest-growing communities were Bratenahl (19 percent), Olmsted Township (7 percent), Rocky River (8 percent) and Westlake (5 percent). 
In our immediate area, Berea, Brook Park and Olmsted Falls all lost a small percentage of residents, while Middleburg Heights stayed the same. North Royalton grew about 3 percent. Brecksville stayed the same; Broadview Heights grew about 3 percent.
