Bins for Cardboard Return to Recycling Center

Bins for flattened cardboard and other papers have returned to the city's recycling center, located next to the Strongsville Food Bank, 13259 Pearl Road, at the Zverina Lane roundabout.
Strongsville previously contracted with a private company for cardboard recycling bins, but delays in emptying the containers caused the city to cancel the contract.
Instead, Republic Waste, the city's trash hauler, has installed eight blue bins that accept flattened cardboard and other mixed paper, including shredded paper. There's also a larger blue rectangular bin at the site for all recyclables.
Republic Waste also provides curbside recycling for cardboard and all other recyclable items.
