Some local processing plants and trash haulers are now accepting plastic tubs for recycling -- including Republic Waste in Strongsville.
Plastic tubs are open-top circular or oblong containers, according to Cuyahoga Recycles. They may have a separate or attached snap-on lid or cover; some tubs may have latched lids. Exmples of a plastic tubs are butter, sour cream or fruit and yogurt cups.
