Residents are reminded that whenever snowfall accumulates to 2 inches within a 24-hour period, a winter parking ban is automatically in effect and no vehicles are permitted to be parked on city streets.
The parking ban goes into effect automatically and does not have to be announced.
The
city ordinance says vehicles left on a city street during a parking ban will be towed without warning.
