The Strongsville Community Band will play a series of summer concerts on Friday evenings on the lawn of Strongsville Middle School, 13200 Pearl Road. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the free shows.
The outdoor concerts all start at 7:30 p.m. They are scheduled for June 24, July 1, July 8, Aug. 5 and Aug. 12.
In addition, the band will play at 7 p.m. July 29 at the Rec Center following the Rotary Cookout for seniors. While registration is needed for the cookout, the concert is free and open to everyone.
And the Strongsville City Jazz Swing Band will play at the Rec Center on July 22 at 7 p.m.
