March 15-21 is Spring Severe Weather Awareness Week in Ohio, and Strongsville firefighters want you to be on the alert for the possibility of tornadoes, flooding and thunderstorms.
There will be a statewide tornado drill at 9:50 a.m. March 18. During the drill, communities will test their tornado sirens or other weather warning systems.
Also, ReadyNotify, Cuyahoga County's mass notivication system, as well as the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System will be tested. If you have not done so, please take a moment to verify your information or re-register in the upgraded ReadyNotify system at
cuyahogacounty.gov/ready.
