The Strongsville Community Band will continue its summer concert series celebratilng America 250 with a salute to American composers at 7:30 p.m. July 10 on the lawn at Strongsville Middle School, 13200 Pearl Road.
Music from Gershwin, Ellington, Mancini and others will be featured. Stay till the end for the Big Band Spectacular followed by "Stars and Striped Forever."
Conducting duties will be shared among members of the band who are current or retired music educators.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the free show.
If it rains, the concert will move to the Rec Center, 18100 Royalton Road.
