The Strongsville Fire Department will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 4 at Station 4, 17000 Prospect Road.
Take a behind-the-scenes look at all the department provides and learn about programs for smoke detectors, lock boxes and more.
Activities will include the smoke house, a combat challenge for kids and touch a truck with fire vehicles. It's free and open to all.
