Two outstanding band performances will take place under one roof when The Baldwin Wallace Symphonic Band with conductor Dr. Brendan Caldwell host The Strongsville Community Band under directors Ken Mehalko and Brian Maskow for its annual fall concert. This community collaboration exemplifies the strong ties between the two groups, as Strongsville Community band members reside locally and several are BW alumni. The band will be performing Music for a Darkened Theater by Danny Elfman and 2nd Suite in F by Gustav Holst.
The concert will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026 at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory Kulas Musical Arts Building, 96 Front Street, Berea.
