The court is located in the Strongsville Police Station, at the corner of Pearl and Royalton roads (Routes 42 and 82). Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Acceptable forms of payment: cash, Visa, Mastercard or debit card

No personal checks accepted. Money orders or bank cashier’s checks made out to Strongsville Mayor's Court are acceptable for mail-in payments.

Mayor’s Court is in regular session every second week. Attorneys are asked to call in to confirm their court dates. Attorney sessions start at 8 a.m. on court days. 
Court starts at 9:30  a.m. 
Five-day OVI hearings will be on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. on non-court weeks.

Traffic offenses and misdemeanor criminal cases are heard in Mayor’s Court. If you contest the charge, the case is referred to Berea Municipal Court.

Appearing in Court

If you were issued a citation, your scheduled appearance date and time appears at the top of the citation. If the officer has indicated a personal appearance is required, it is mandatory you appear in court.

If the citation is marked as waiverable, you may avoid an appearance in court by signing the waiver form and paying the fine and costs prior to your scheduled court date.
