Interstate 71 Interchange at Boston Road
The City of Strongsville is investigating ways to improve safety and mobility along the I-71 corridor and the adjacent local roadway network. Pursuant to Ohio House Bill 10, the city hired Euthenics Inc. to perform a preliminary feasibility study for a new full or partial interchange at Boston Road.
In June 2023, Euthenics submitted to the City of Strongsville a preliminary study that examines the impact and feasibility of five alternatives for providing access to I-71 from Boston Road. The study was updated August 28, 2023.

The idea of an interchange at Boston Road, which is the dividing line between the cities of Strongsville and Brunswick and Cuyahoga and Medina Counties, has been discussed by all four entities since the early 1980s. The following timeline notes important milestones in the process.
