The department welcomed two new firefighter-paramedics Sept. 19 as John Rudmann and Michael D'Amico took the oath of office.
Rudmann's background includes training in hazardous materials, advanced life support and as a pharmacy technician. He has worked for the Orange Village and Bainbridge Township fire departments.
D'Amico's training includes ice water rescue. He has worked for the Sandusky and Valley City fire departments. His father, Mario, is a retired Strongsville fire captain.
