Are You Prepared for Severe Weather?

The spring and summer months will bring severe weather to Ohio, and the Strongsville Fire Department urges residents to take the threat seriously and be prepared.

In the event of a devastating weather event like a tornado, it could take hours or days for help to arrive, and power could be off indefinitely. Families are encouraged to have emergency plans in place, conduct tornado safety drills, and make emergency supply kids for their homes, their cars, or in case they have to evacuate.

The Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management has put together a guide on how to prepare for a tornado and how to protect yourself during a tornado. You can read it by clicking here.
