The Strongsville Community Band invites the public to a free concert on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the Strongsville Middle School Auditorium, 13200 Pearl Road. This exciting musical performance will feature Guest Conductor Brendan Caldwell, director of wind ensembles at Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music. Those in attendance will be the first to experience Fantasy, an original work by Cleveland composer Clarence Barber that features Douglas Droste, guest violinist and director of orchestral studies at Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music. Additional music selections include works by Gershwin, Grainger and Sousa.
