CITY OF STRONGSVILLE

CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMPETITIVE MUNICPAL GRANT PROGRAM
The City of Strongsville is eligible to apply for funding from Federal Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) funds administered by Cuyahoga County through the Department of Development.  Funds can be used for a variety of housing, economic development and community improvement projects.  Residents are invited to attend a public meeting to voice their opinions on local development needs, or to submit opinions in writing to the address below.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the City has maintained physical distancing measures to help reduce further transmission.  As a city, the safety of our residents and the community is our ultimate priority.  Therefore, after continued risk analysis and following Ohio Department of Health guidance, the Strongsville Recreation Center continues to reopen activities with restricted areas, amenities and limited occupant capacities that meet social distancing requirements.  The following chart provides guidance as to each are of the Rec Center and the required restrictions:
1 - All restrictions and limitations subject to change without notice
2 - Those with temperatures 100F and above will not be permitted entry

Parks and Recreation in Strongsville

Strongsville boasts nine city parks that offer baseball fields, football fields, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds and pavilions in addition to a state-of-the-art recreation and senior center. 
 

Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center

Strongsville’s recreation center, 18100 Royalton Rd., offers a vast array of classes, programs and activities for every age, in addition to a pool/aquatic center, gym, track and a huge assortment of workout and weight equipment. The front desk can be reached at (440) 580-3260. Please visit the Senior Center pages for information on amenities and programs for seniors.
