Strongsville VFW Post 3345 will host the annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2024.
The parade will step off at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph Church on Pearl Road and head south to the Commons at the corner of Pearl and Royalton roads, where a ceremony honoring the nation's fallen heroes will take place.
The location is new this year because construction in the Town Center area has temporarily closed the Freedom Trail gazebo, where the ceremony usually takes place.
Also that day, the Historical Village, 13305 Pearl Road, will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with crafts, tours, refreshments and a Gold Star tree for people to write the name of a fallen soldier.
