Tax-Aide to Again Offer Help Preparing Returns

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program will operate again this year starting the first full week in February and ending April 12, 2024.  This IRS-supported FREE tax service is offered to everyone, although special attention is given to those with low or moderate incomes and/or those 60 and older. Taxpayers do NOT have to be retired or a member of AARP. 

Appointments will be taken starting the first week of January 2024. 
 
Tax-Aide sites in southwest Cuyahoga County are located at:
 
Strongsville Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136. Appointments on Mondays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  To make an appointment go to the Church and complete sign-up book or call (440) 238-6135.

Tax Aide is opening fewer sites than in past years due to a reduced number of volunteers.  

Please bring to your appointments copies of your federal and Ohio 2022 returns; 2023 forms W-2, 1099, and 1098; Social Security cards or statements for all persons on your tax return; a picture ID (i.e., a valid driver’s license) for you and your spouse, and any IRS or Ohio Tax correspondence.
