Police Patrolman Gerald Larotonda smoothed a mama duck's ruffled feathers by rescuing her ducklings from a sewer.
Witnesses saw a duck pacing around a sewer drain and quacking the morning of July 8 and discovered four ducklings had fallen into the sewer.
They called police for help. Larotonda climbed down the sewer to pull out the four stranded ducklings and reunite them with their relieved mother duck.
