NOPEC is a non-profit group used by over 240 Ohio communities to provide natural gas and electricity to residents and small businesses in their community. The City of Strongsville has been a member of NOPEC’s natural gas aggregation program since 2002.

NOPEC buys gas and electricity in bulk, then passes the savings and benefits on to their customers. You can find our more on the NOPEC website.

As a nonprofit energy supplier, NOPEC says it:
  • Negotiates on behalf of its members for lower NOPEC rates and better terms and conditions.
  • Educates residents and customers in member communities on how they can conserve energy and save even more on their energy bills.
  • Advocates for consumer-friendly energy legislation at both the state and federal level.
