A Baby Boomer Looks Back At The Vietnam War
Speaker: Dave Taylor
Thursday, March 22nd   7:00pm                Fees: Free
Medina resident and Vietnam War veteran Dave Taylor talks about reliving the war to write his new book, "Our War. The History and Sacrifices of an Infantry Battalion in the Vietnam War 1968-1971". In the first two months after its publication, the first printing was sold out and it is now into its third printing. Taylor will discuss his journey as an author/historian in writing about his own unit and the three years it served in the war. His 720-page book is the only battalion history written in a narrative style, which places the reader with the soldiers as the battalion fought under various strategies and tactics for three years. The presentation will give rare insights into the Vietnam War.
