SAFETY TOWN INFORMATION & REGISTRATION – 2020
NOTE: SAFETY TOWN REGISTRATION FOR 2020 HAS BEEN POSTPONED. RESIDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SIGN UP THEIR CHILDREN ON MARCH 28 OR APRIL 1, AS ORIGINALLY PLANNED. WE WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION SOON ABOUT ALTERNATE REGISTRATION OPTIONS.
Safety Town is a Strongsville Police Department program. The Strongsville Rotary and other civic groups sponsor this program. Safety Town is not mandatory prior to entering kindergarten but is an excellent opportunity for the children to explore their community through class activities and field trips while learning important safety precautions.
Registration (in person only) is at the Walter F. Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center; 18100 Royalton Rd. All Safety Town classes will be held at the Safety Town Learning Center, behind the Senior Center. A non-refundable fee of $50 (check or cash payable to The City of Strongsville) per child must be paid at time of registration by the child’s parent or guardian. Only children who are Strongsville residents and/or attend a Strongsville school and will be starting kindergarten this year may register for Safety Town on one of the below dates & times (non-residents may apply after these dates by calling Marie at the Strongsville Police Department, (440) 580-3257, to see if space is available):
